Southern Tier Blasts Off

Yet another product from Southern Tier that aims to please.  This is a blend of Unearthly IPA and Unfiltered Hoppe.  Which both beers on there own are quite good, so i wasn’t so sure that i wanted them to be mixed.  But the outcome changed my mind pretty quickly.  From the Southern Tier Website we get this description.  “High in the winter sky, two parallel stick figures are visible & known as “the twins,” or the constellation Gemini. The astronauts of the 1960s flew as teams of two in a program named after the celestial pairing. At Southern Tier, we have our own fraternal twins, Hoppe & Unearthly. Blended together & placed in this vessel, the mission of our Gemini is to travel high & take passengers on a journey far into the heavens.
9.0% abv • 11.7ºL • 22oz. / 1/6 keg”

This guy is definitely good, that is if you love hops.  Lots of grapefruit and pineapple hit you in the face and doesn’t stop.  From the first sip to the last.  I don’t think I’ve ever had a beer from these guys that i haven’t liked.  One of the best things is that they put a list of ingredients on the bottle.  Which means if your so inclined you can try and figure out the correct amount and come up with a very tasty brew of your own.
